Diabetes
Hopelandia · M
@Ambroseguy80 Forgive me, but diabetes is about controlling blood sugar, right? Would pizza really be a problem as it's mainly savoury?
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
@Hopelandia the crust is all carbs, which turns to blood sugar.

@Ambroseguy80 Got it. Shoulda thought of that. And I'm sorry diabetes can ruin a pizza :( Will an Italian style pizza work?
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
@Hopelandia I think cauliflower crusts help, but they aren’t quite the same.

@Ambroseguy80 I wouldn't try to find out if I were you...

@Ambroseguy80 I have been buying cauliflower crust cheese pizzas at Sam’s Club, two in a box for $10.98. They are thin crusts and really good. They also have spinach cheese pizzas.

@cherokeepatti yeah I haven’t disliked it. I’m just on a weight loss diet right now so I’m not eating pizza in general.

@Ambroseguy80 hope that is going well for you.
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
@tobynshorty thanks. I’m down 27 pounds from two months ago.

@Ambroseguy80 that’s amazing!

@Ambroseguy80 You absolutely can go into remission for diabetes! Good luck!

@Hopelandia I actually am nipping it in the bud - was pre-diabetic, and have done it before. Thank you.
