NYC to Crack Down on Wood-Fired Pizza Joints to Reduce Carbon Emissions by Up to 75%

First gas stoves, now wood-fired ovens.

New York City will be cracking down on wood-fired pizza joints to reduce carbon emissions by up to 75%.

“All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” Department of Environmental Protection spokesman Ted Timbers said in a statement to the New York Post on Sunday. “This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”

According to the New York Post, some restaurateurs are currently negotiating with DEP officials.

Iconic pizzerias known for their wood-fired pizzas such as Grimaldis, Arturo’s, Lombardi’s, and others may be exempt from the mandate. Their wood must come from the wooden heads of democrats!

The war on imaginary "greenhouse gases" continues

@BizSuitStacy They're not imaginary, although I admit that there are far better things your government could do to reduce emissions.
@SW-User the fuck they aren't. We'd have all cooked long ago if CO2 actually heated the planet.

@BizSuitStacy It's fine. I don't expect to you understand science or atmospheric composition. Too many big words, I understand :)
@SW-User lemme guess...your last "science" class was in high school when you found someone willing to gut the frog.

You couldn't even begin to explain how CO2 warms the earth.

But here's the kicker...400,000 years of data from the Vostok ice cores show global warming precedes the increase in CO2. Y'all boasted about the amount of CO2 captured in the ice compared to amounts in the atmosphere, as if that's an apples to apples comparison. Ahhh...but when it was determined that global warming preceded the increase in CO2, climatards went silent over the ice cores.

But I wouldn't expect a climatard who relies on CNN to actually understand.

@BizSuitStacy Oh there's no doubt there was more CO2 in the atmosphere millions of years ago; but the world was somewhat different then. Never mind.
@SW-User how does that explain anything?
SW-User
@BizSuitStacy I don't actually care to explain it because I don't care enough what you think :)

I bet they were ALL wood fired pizza ovens back then!
SW-User
@Budwick I have no doubt they were 😜

Of course. We know you can't. Just like the other day when you claimed kiddie pageants were a red state thing...when asked to prove it, you ran off with your tail between your legs.
