high fructose corn syrup is not good, most processed foods have this, and most soda drinks, I did not say sugar is harmless, I just pointed out with no fat in the system it is distributed much easier...'the fat we eat is the fat we wear"...and combined with sugar is deadly.....it is a long haul for people to let go of fat...so they point out sugar, sugar is not my recommendation here....dr dean ornish REVERSED hear disease with a low fat diet, dr esselstyn reversed heart disease with the same.....also they recommended no processed foods including refined sugar.....many americans are obese because of the amount of saturated fat they consume, along with processed foods.....http://www.pcrm.org/shop/byNealBarnard/dr-barnards-program-for-reversing-diabetes
