Can you keep disagreements in perspective?

Disagreeing with someone does not make them "evil". Whether it is religion or politics or who makes the best pizza ( Chicago of course ) can you keep from personalizing things and making out as if the people you don't agree with are bad people?

I can definitely stay respectful and hear another person's opinion without making them out to be "wrong" or a "bad person". I always keep in mind that the other person feels JUST as strongly about their opinion as I do mine. And that makes us equal! :) PLUS, I am not the person who has to be right. I don't really care about convincing people, and what I think will not change because of someone else, unless I personally encounter something that makes me change my mind.
But a lot of people don't operate this way

@Girlygirl099 So many conversations on here turn ugly. More of us should think like you and @EmilyEdith do
