If peanut butter wasn’t called peanut butter, what would it be called?

Actually all such butter is usually called by the name of the nut, unless it's a mixture of nuts, then it's called nut butter.

I have actually made nut butter. A mixture of pistachios, peanuts and sunflower seeds.

So calling any other butter follows suit. You have almonds, you make almond butter. You have pecans, you make pecan butter. So forth and so on.
