@bijouxbroussard It was a signal that you were prison hardened. You aren't allowed drawstrings or belts in prison so dudes pants would sag. When they got out you kept the sag to show you done time and were a G. Then it just caught on from there.

Is that a "hood" thing ? My niece bought matching jackets for herself and my father. He thought it was ridiculous, but he wore it. To the neighborhood grocery store, with her.

@bijouxbroussard I've seen them here and there in various types of settings.
But kinda yeah. Whenever I go back home to Rochester or I'm in Syracuse it seems like a I always see a lot of them and it's always really tall and skinny dudes. I always see them for sale in the bodegas too.
They make me smile honestly because of how absurd they are and in my mind how much balls it takes to wear that around.
