Had some ramen and fried rice this weekend

@AddictedToSerenity I saw some japanese people put potatoes into their rice with a little soy sauce and they were like "delicious", they're so weird lol. I wish I could enjoy something that simplistic

@MartinTheFirst all I know rn is asking for directions and saying I’m not Japanese lol I get mistaken for being Japanese

@AddictedToSerenity Better that than being white/black and always being mistaken for not knowing japanese, I've heard that gets annoying real quick

@MartinTheFirst yeah I once got rejected from going into store (a grocery store I use to go to all the time) because foreigners brought covid to Japan, they still think foreigners do and the abuse toward the intern workers from nearby counters etc

@AddictedToSerenity Absolutely, the younger generations are getting increasingly "woke". So did you like the ramen? It looks very fancy but I've always wondered if it's worth the price tag since it's soup
