Had some ramen and fried rice this weekend

@twiigss oooh nice it was a ramen shop at the mall, picked up my glasses and decided to eat there, not really any Chinese food in my area but maybe more south

@AddictedToSerenity Maryland has huge asian communities with a lot of asian grocery stores and restaurants. Wish it was the same in my state.

@twiigss ah okay that’s nice, I’m in Japan so it’s kind of hard to find Chinese place nearby I can go to haha I live in countryside

@helenS whenever I get the chance I go visit other towns, eventually want to visit Hokkaido

@AddictedToSerenity I still remember the excellent rapid train connection from Nagoya Airport to Higashi-Okazaki, I think the railway company is called Meitetsu.
I really enjoyed my business-related visits to Japan very much!

I am not good doing egg fried rice. It always looked watery when I put egg in it.

@iamelijah I had all toppings they had put on it, the egg fried rice was great, I wanted to get karaage but they ran out.

@MartinTheFirst they need to have younger generation in office, and it’ll change slowly

@AddictedToSerenity Absolutely, the younger generations are getting increasingly "woke". So did you like the ramen? It looks very fancy but I've always wondered if it's worth the price tag since it's soup

@MartinTheFirst it’s was great was only like 900 yen fried rice was like 3-400 yen

@Heavenlywarrior Walmart sells this stuff called Yakisoba. It comes in a container, add water to fill line, microwave, it's really really good actually. I usually get like 5 of them at a time, so if I just want a meal and then just throw away, it's perfect.
