Will I find coffee creamer in my wallet?
I am in a restaurant finishing up breakfast. The waitress brought my check and filled up my coffee cup. Cup number three!
I started to multi-task. First, I grabbed a creamer from the bowl and set it next to my cup. Yet before proceeding, I changed course and got my wallet from my back pocket. I grabbed a credit card and put it on the check tray for pickup.
Then I resumed adding cream. Yet rather than reach for the creamer in front of me, I reached inside my wallet pocket. Hee hee.
Nope, no creamers in my wallet. Just cash.
You'd think after two cups of coffee my brain would be working properly! I definitely need cup number three!
It reminds of the time I almost put the milk in the pantry or the cereal box in the fridge.
