Ever wake up in the morning with random vertigo?

I get these spells where it feels like things are moving or sometimes everything is sideways.

Only if I’m having hay fever and fluid in my ears. When you get up the fluid has to settle as you stand up. You might want to get checked for that.

It went away after a day last time.
Right now the room is spinning after I laid down.
I'm thinking maybe it could be fluid.
I just woke up that way this morning and got up and the house felt tilted.
Walking feels weird but manageable.
No exercise this morning :(

@Juvia I think it was BPPV. I had to do a sort of maneuver to make it go away. My eyes were going in random directions and felt like throwing up but it went away probably 10 mins after that.

Not when I first wake up. It happens to me fairly often when I am on my laptop. I start to see lightnings across my eyes, and next thing I know I feel vertigo when I move my head even slightly. I usually have to get up with one eye closed, hold onto things, and make my way carefully into the bedroom.

Lying flat usually cures it within 20 minutes or so.

@4meAndyou I got a lot of past head injuries from horseback riding so probably explains why it happens to me more frequently.

@Juvia Thanks for telling me about it. I have seen lightnings for a good part of my adult life...called visual migraines, but they got a lot worse after a car accident where I was rear ended...and ever since then I get the head positional vertigo once in a while. I will look up the epley maneuver.

@4meAndyou Oh yeah I get that too. I still get migraines but the vertigo seems to pop up like right in the morning. It's weird. But this seemed to help with that. Hopefully maybe it will help you. It's super easy too to do.
