I might have tried it. I had a Filipina coworker years ago who would just hand me food and say "you are too skinny, eat this". It was always delicious but I had no idea what half of it was.

She was my Pinay Grandmother. 😂

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I’m lucky enough to have a Filipina GF, and even better, she’s Kapampangan…from a region known for amazing cooks. She doesn’t cook often, but when she does it’s always amazing treat.
