Why is everyone picking on me

Veganism, is a philosophy, a way of living.... all forms of exploitation of cruelty to animals for food, clothing is avoided.
Vegetarians, say, We don't eat dead things.

Well, I see things differently.. plant life has feelings too. They live, breathe, grow and multiple just like animals.

Poor vegetables.... we cut off their ears, chop off their heads, even pull them up by their roots. People are always picking on..off of them, and they die too.

It is indisputable, that plants are a living and complex life form. What [i]is[/i] disputable though, is whether or not they are sentient beings in any way [i]close [/i] to most animals. Most notably, our fellow mammals.

Then there is the fact that concerningly large swaths of rainforests have been decimated to "grow' cattle for slaughter...and the plant life animals people like to eat are fed. Then there is fact that most humans do also eat plants, along with their cooked dead animals.

@ShadowWorker Okay. I will add, that most vegetarians do not say "we don't eat dead 'things'", in response to be asked or ridiculed about why they abstain from eating [i]meat[/i].

Personally I've never ridiculed anyone on their personal preference about anything. Each to their own... for real too.
