Why is everyone picking on me

Plants don't have a brain or a nervous system to feel pain, they can react to stimuli so in a sense they do know and are aware. However many, many, many scientists have said to stop saying plants feel pain, there's tons of articles urging people not to conflate things.

It is indisputable, that plants are a living and complex life form. What is disputable though, is whether or not they are sentient beings in any way close to most animals. Most notably, our fellow mammals.

Then there is the fact that concerningly large swaths of rainforests have been decimated to "grow' cattle for slaughter...and the plant life animals people like to eat are fed. Then there is fact that most humans do also eat plants, along with their cooked dead animals.

Yes, all of that is true. But, in the grand scheme of things, I believe nature has provided a system which allows for the least amount of bad feelings for the vegetables. God is merciful in so many ways.

No matter WHAT you post here, 😐 there's always someone to jump on it with a mean comment. True we all aren't going to agree with everything, but it's no reason to post a crappy negative comment without explaining why you feel the way you do.
