These new touch screen ordering menus at McDonalds are awful

First time at McDonalds in couple years. Go to order and they no longer have cashiers take your order. Itnis all through an automated screen.

It's awful. It longer to order and is a confusing mess. What a terrible idea

Haven't used them yet at McDonalds but have many times at Sheetz and find they expedite the ordering process.

@Gibbon they absolutely do not ag McDonald's. Especially if you arent familiar with tbe menu anymoremore. You scroll pages just to look at the menu.

@MethDozer Seems like businesses are pushing more of their side of the transaction obligations onto the customer. Wish I could transfer some of my work responsibilities onto someone else downstream and get away with it.

It took me awhile to be comfortable ordering that way, our local one offers both ,but if you find somebody at the counter it's almost a miracle.

@Justmeraeagain its a new location. (First one the town eveer had. Before this closest one was 40 miles away) They don't even have a menu or cash register. There is no way to order properly
