Thank $15.00 min wage. Soon you will be served by robots who make, wrap, and sell your food.

I don't know why tge pres upped minimum wage. It just drives the product up. @Steve42
@Steve42 there's a fully automated coffee shop in wisconsin. The only human task is refilling materials.
RedBaron · M
@Spoiledbrat So you want people to work for subsistence wages so you can save $3 on your meal?
Your username seems quite appropriate.

@Steve42 if robots made your food, at least you may get what you order,

@SooperSarah Not very useful for those not in Wisconsin.
@RedBaron true, but it shows the automated service industry is growing
RedBaron · M
@SooperSarah Does it? Where else are these establishments?
Remember that Horn & Hardart opened its first automat in 1902 in Philadelphia, but eventually went out of business.

@RedBaron their goal isn't to build more coffee shops. They're trying to sell the tech to establishments that already exist and can't find the help they need without jacking up their prices. If the tech will thrive this is definitely the climate for it.

@SooperSarah Horn & Hardart was a chain of full-menu automated restaurants, not coffee shops.
