@fanuc2013 I smelled it far too much in the kitchens of so many places I worked. I'll never know what it tastes like. I'm not eating anything that churns my stomach simply being warmed up.

Both are fermented the same way and both are salty. But kimchi has a lot more veggies and even garlic and red pepper in it, it’s a bit spicy.
