I Don't Like Ice Cream

It's not that I don't like it, it's just that it gives me heartburn whenever I eat it. Ice cream causing heartburn! Crazy, I know, but it's true. One time it made my chest hurt so much, I thought I was going to need to go to the hospital! I didn't and it subsided after a while but I've avoided ice cream ever since. ☹

If you've eaten ice cream after eating something with a lot of spice or heat the fatty acids in the milk products (ice cream, milk, cheese) trap the spice oils in them and they float to the top of your stomach causing heartburn.

Can you eat frozen sherbert? They're water based so it might be easier on your stomach.

@KaysHealingPath Interesting... I never really kept track of what I would eat before having ice cream. 🤔 I can't remember the last time I've had frozen sherbert but maybe I'll give that a try sometime. :)
