Have you ever tried…

…left handed ice cream? 🍦

It tastes so much better when licked from the other side!!

I used to have a left handed girlfriend once. Does that count?
@Bang5luts Left-handed women are very rare. Lefties are 10%-12% of the total population and we’re 20% of that demographic. 😄

@Bang5luts Sure ☺😊
@bijouxbroussard My grandmother, mother and me, all left-handed. My daughter, right-handed.
@Mamapolo2016 Wow, that’s incredibly rare. In my family it’s just me and my cousin Elizabeth. Our parents, my siblings (she’s an only child) and her kids, all right-handed.
@Mamapolo2016 My grandmother and I are the only lefties in a family that includes 7 grandchildren. I'm not sure about the 14 kids in the generation below me.
@bijouxbroussard In earlier centuries, we’d doubtless have been witches. Some would argue we are/were.
@ElwoodBlues it’s be hard to tell - hardly anyone writes on paper anymore.
@Mamapolo2016 Now, the nuns never said it, but in retrospect I think their commitment to breaking my dependence on my left hand was as much about their superstitions as it was the supposed convenience of me becoming right-handed.

@bijouxbroussard, [Mamapolo2016 ] Even in the late 1980s (in England] teachers tried to stop a female friend of mine from using her left hand. She's now pretty much ambidextrous, although she writes with her right.
@ArtieKat That was how I ended up, functionally ambidextrous. I can write with either hand but I tend to eat, reach for things and type/text with my left hand.

@bijouxbroussard For undoing screws in tight spaces and suchlike, Hannah is incredibly useful! 🤣
@bijouxbroussard Superstition and/or being different. A whole lot of teachers didn’t like different.
