It's 105 ° F outside now, sure let's get some ice cream.

I skip the ice cream. I use and make black cherry tea. Sometimes it’s a fruity variety. I fill a saucepan w/ water, drop in two bags, slowly bring to a boil then reduce the heat, let the bags steep. Then pour into a suitable container and refrigerate. Quite refreshing.

I am not going back out. I was already in the heat underneath the midsummer midday sun. 🥵

But I did stop at the supermarket and got a carton of ice cream, and a box of ice cream bars. And 6 liters of soda, and a quarter of a watermelon!
