People of the UK: Do you leave a tip at restaurants?

Somewhat nicer places are starting to add a ‘discretionary’ 12.5% charge to the bill, and then if paying digitally a separate screen pops up requesting a tip on top. The second request seems a little excessive.

I went to one restaurant with my family and tipped and didn't know they had already taken it out (because we were a group)🙁 I guess groups take more work. 🙄

But we tip 20% no matter.
