People of the UK: Do you leave a tip at restaurants?

Somewhat nicer places are starting to add a ‘discretionary’ 12.5% charge to the bill, and then if paying digitally a separate screen pops up requesting a tip on top. The second request seems a little excessive.

Yes. In good restaurants with waiter service it’s still very much considered good practice to tip here in UK.
