No, yet this I can believe...

https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/manuka-honey-medicinal-uses
Manuka honey is made in Australia and New Zealand by bees that pollinate the native [c=000000]leptospermum scoparium bush (also known as a tea tree[/c]). Advocates say it can treat wound infections and other conditions.

Healing Power of Honey

Honey has been used since ancient times to treat multiple conditions. It wasn't until the late 19th century that researchers discovered that honey has natural antibacterial qualities.

Honey protects the body against damage caused by bacteria. Some honeys also boost the production of special cells that can repair tissue damaged by infection. Manuka honey has an anti-inflammatory action that can help ease pain and inflammation.

However, not all honey is the same. The antibacterial quality of honey depends on the type of honey as well as when and how it's harvested. Some kinds may be 100 times more potent than others.
Components of Manuka Honey

Hydrogen peroxide gives most honey its antibiotic quality. But some types, including Manuka honey, also have unique antimicrobial qualities.

The reason why I believe it is because of the tea tree plant has such qualities all by itself.

Note as well that this is a medical database.

My surgeon prescribed it after my surgeries to heal my incision site.

Never heard of it before now

@MarineBob Has a lot of health benefits. Has to be medical grade though and have a higher rating. There are some for sale higher rated than the one I posted but I think this one will be good. Doesn’t take much, can have it on toast etc every day.

Yes, I had a bad throat infection and used it in Honey lemon tea. As well as some skin rashes. It worked well there, but was sticky.

Nope, but please let us know about it.

@WillaKissing It’s expensive, that’s one thing I know for sure. I am getting this one. Will be worth every penny if it’s effective.
