Tips of storing homemade juice

If I make homemade cranberry juice and I decide to store it in mason jars, but does it necessarily need to stay refrigerated or can I store it in my pantry?

There isn't any simple way to store juice long term. As Azlotto said, it'll start growing mold/bacteria after just a few days at room temperature, and any wild yeasts present will start fermenting the sugars. Unless the juice is pasteurized, any contaminants will turn into vinegar; air in the headspace of the container will lead to oxidation and diminish the quality/taste, and even UV light will harm the flavor
