Tips of storing homemade juice

If I make homemade cranberry juice and I decide to store it in mason jars, but does it necessarily need to stay refrigerated or can I store it in my pantry?

I can drink 64 fl oz of cranberry juice directly from the bottle over the course of a week before it becomes vinegary and I leave it at room temperature. If all that backwash and non refrigeration can go for that long just think how much longer it can last if you pour it in a cup so it doesn't get contaminated.
