What鈥檚 your favorite healthy dish/entree?

Baked sweet potatoes.
Fill with seasoned chicken..add ranch.

Or fill with seasoned beef and avacado.

Quinoa cooked with chicken broth instead of water. Add taco seasoning, ground turkey, corn, black beans and top with cheese.

@iamnikki I鈥檇 say no unless you go on a keto diet. Better to have complex starches than junk food and sweet potatoes are one of the resistant starches.

@cherokeepatti I need to buy a good nutrition book. Not just recipes but what food is actually doing in my body ya know? I wanted to take nutrition classes in school but I knew it consisted of a little math etc so I decided not too.

Yeah me too. I do chicken and broccoli with sweet potato oven fries that I toss in smoked paprika, black pepper and chilli powder. That's more gym food but it's really good..

I can so relate to this. My husband is the worst when it comes to food.
All hecwants is meat n potatoes.. . I hate red meats, so its a challenge.
I do make pork chops in the crocknpot w red potatoes, use cream of mushroom soup w, it along with onions. ( I sear the chops first and cook the onions.) Let cook slow for 6, 7 hours comes out good.
Another is Mississippi Pot Roast..
Brown the out side of pot roast put in slow cooker. Add 1 packet of onion soup mix, 1 packet of ranch dressing, 1 stck of butter or what you prefer, pepporicci peppers about 5 or so w a little juice. Let cook about 7 hours on low very delicious 馃構

Omlette of Asparagus, mushrooms and green onion with cracked pepper.

Baked Salmon with Dil and mustard plus Broccoli lemon pepper.

My meals near zero carbs, low fat protein source, low calorie, no addedsugars, no processed foods ( except bacon)

A few deviled eggs with no mayo.
Use one spoon of sugarfree greek yogurt with the yolks along with spices and curry to fill the eggs.
Serve kale on the side and crumble one piece of thick cut bacon and shredded carrots on top of everything.

Braised chicken with onions & raisins & saffron rice
Salmon patties with broccoli and chopped salad
Omelette with veggies (whatever you like, eggplant is my favorite) and a salad
Chicken soup with veggies
