I Planted a Vegetable Garden

Every year. Overall, we didn't do well this year. Green beans and tomatoes did OK. Everything else (cucumber, eggplant, potatoes, zucchini, squash) didn't. I likely need to add some compost to the soil; I'll take care of that in the spring. We also got a late start this year, so that certainly could've had an effect as well. 🤷‍♂️
had one of my best tomato crops ever. my peppers got the blight early. never have luck with them

@saragoodtimes So, yep, not too far. Especially considering how far away most people on here are from me. :)
@LookingForIt987 a few in the philly area I've talked to. Collegeville, conshie area, Bensalem, and a few north of reading

this growing season just didn't do so good. Our tomatoes are mostly staying green and the pumpkin exploded but only grew one gourd

@Jackaloftheazuresand Tomatoes did just fine for me, but that and the beans are about all we got. Like I said, I got a late start this year - it was into June before I got my plants in, when I usually try for early May. And we had a string of 100 degree days this year, which I'm sure didn't help. We get hot and humid here in the northeast, but nothing like that. Oh well. I'll try to refresh the soil next year with a bit of compost, and of course I'll rotate where I put the plants.
