Nearly killed my friend's microwave

So a few years ago i visted a friend and his girlfriend's kid told me to microwave 2 french fries for 5 minutes. The fries sparked and lit on fire. I put out the fire but his place smelled like fries for the next 4 months. I almost blew up his microwave.
