Fish and chips as it’s Friday,

I had fish and chips on the beach back in June. I asked for a small portion of chips, but the lady rammed packed them so tightly around my fish that the lid of the polystyrene container snapped in my hand. Reluctant to complain as I am a southerner travelling in the north-east. Because I cannot abide wasting food, I ate the whole lot (took me well over an hour). I got indigestion amd tried to walk it off. After 5 miles I still had indigestion. Couldn't manage the ice cream I was looking forward too later. Couldn't sleep because my tummy hurt so much 😞

Absolutely! A most British way to celebrate the weekend (without the curry sauce for me) and more British than shinning up a lamppost with a flag. 🤣

I'm going to come to the gathering too

Spaghetti, as it's what I have left.

Wild Alaska sockeye salmon, guacamole, roma tomatoes, leafy lettuce, chipotle aioli, on cranberry bread (not toasted).

Pizza or tacos.

A healthier meal with a lot less sugar and fewer carbs.
