Do you eat fish on Fridays?

One of my friends who because of this enforced Ukrainian diaspora has been settled in southern England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, says that the family she is living with has a ritual of Friday visits to the’chippy’ for a family feast of cod and chips 🍟,and instead of any ketchup or mayonnaise which I have heard some people put on this dish they have a sauce made out of crushed garden peas! 🫛

🐟🐠🍟 yes, absolutely fish and chips is usually the Friday dinner in most schools and places of work 🐟🐠🍟

🍔 My local Chip shop on a Friday is usually rammed and they do a lovely curry sauce and mushy peas. 🍔

🐟🐠🍟 I actually prefer rock and chips 🐟🐠🍟

🥜 my local chip shop uses peanut oil 🥜

🪧 there is a sign on the wall warning people in case they have an allergy to it 🪧

🍺 the Off license is next door so as useful to buy my weekly supply of Budweiser 🍺
