Which white wine pairs well with fish sticks and tater tots?

@RosaMarie well the people at the wine store sure steered me wrong they said you're supposed to eat white wine with fish

@turnedtostone white wine with white flaky fish, yes. Fried, I would go for a white wine with a decent bite of acidity. Pino grigio if they list apple or pear in the taste. Or an unoaked chard. Or dry Riesling.

An oaky chard would be too buttery and wouldn't compliment the fried food.
