Uber Auto Cancelled My Trip & Gave It To Someone Else

Because I apparently took "too long" to get there; I'm so sorry I have to wear the wrist, elbow, and knee pads along with my helmet for safety. Now my cancellation rate went up from 5 to 6%, and if it eventually reaches 20%, my account will get deactivated. I do have DoorDash as a fallback option and I'll definitely apply for other jobs so if I get kicked off Uber, I'll be fine.

Isn’t it the higher the percentage the less the number ?
@Monalisasmith86 what do you mean?

@uikakarotuevegeta I mean if he raises from 5 percent to 6 percentage it’s less expensive
@Monalisasmith86 what are you talking about? Cancellation rate is how many times I cancelled out of the total deliveries I successfully completed. Higher % is worse to the algorithms and to customers. each area has its own rate which results in account deactivation. Sadly I'm not in such an area, as I have the unfair 20% rate when that happens; some places don't even have such a cap, so you can cancel as much and get away with it.
It does "reset" after every 100 deliveries (same with acceptance rate), but it acts as a rotating wheel rather than a complete new slate.
