Uber Auto Cancelled My Trip & Gave It To Someone Else

Because I apparently took "too long" to get there; I'm so sorry I have to wear the wrist, elbow, and knee pads along with my helmet for safety. Now my cancellation rate went up from 5 to 6%, and if it eventually reaches 20%, my account will get deactivated. I do have DoorDash as a fallback option and I'll definitely apply for other jobs so if I get kicked off Uber, I'll be fine.

@StygianKohlrabi sadly all couriers and drivers are classified as contractors, not employees except in very specific jurisdictions like UK and Netherlands, so no we won't be paid fairly; exceptions are British Columbia, California, and New York, but for those minimim wage is only guaranteed during active time

@uikakarotuevegeta only do that work if you are desperate. they will cheat you constantly even as a contractor.
