I signed up for it and even uploaded some documents years ago, but never did a background check and I refused to upload birth certificate or passport. But seems now either of those documents aren't mandatory, with SIN/SSN card being enough for proof of work eligibility. I also noticed the newer IDs I did upload were manually checked by a human instead of being scanned by algorithms, which I'm assuming is due to too many false positives and some lawsuits. My parents aren't too happy because they (mostly) correctly assume I won't make much money, but a job's a job and I can't get hired anywhere else. I do have my own automation startup that will only be profitable in the medium to long term (for enterprise standards), so in the short term I'll financially suffer.
