What's the deal with all those ebikes delivering food?

Are ppl really this lazy they don't want to go get their food themselves?
I don't get it!

One of my relatives can no longer get out much after a long illness. He uses the food delivery service often.

@LadyBronte that's the exception, but healthy ppl are too lazy to get their own food.
