I highly recommend the Too Good To Go app! In my area there are sadly only 4 participating businesses, but the deals are great! Just got a variety of

donuts, like TEN of them for $5.40 after tax. Tiff's Treat's normally has a dozen cookies for a ridiculous $24..I get them for $9.73 after tax. Circle K gives you $13 worth of items for $4.32 after tax: they gave me a ham and cheese sandwich, cream cheese icing brownie, mixed fruits, and an uncrustable; I gave it to someone in need (great way to bless someone with a full meal on the cheap!). You reserve a surprise bag and pick it up, easy as pie.

Update to add: just discovered I had selected a very limited area..there are more businesses participating if I expand a bit :)

My friend just downloaded the app, and her hubby picked this up for $4! Win win win, bc it helps save food that would otherwise be wasted!
@foldedunfolding that’s crazy!!

I absolutely love this idea because I know someone who works at a gas station and they throw away two whole pizzas every 2-3 hours. No matter how much they wanna justify it nobody cares if pizza is two hours old 🙄 they wanna be like well we can’t sell it to the customers anymore because it’s no longer fresh. OK well then donate it to food banks. I know a lot of restaurants and gas stations do but the one that she works at doesn’t.

@TurtlePink so so so much waste. It is infuriating! People are dying of starvation, and now they are saying Corpus Christi, TX won't meet water needs this, or next, year..due to data centers..for AI we don't need. I hope this app can help y'all out!
