Had a good visit with dad today
He thinks he's in a different city!! He has a 500 piece puzzle to work on, I brought a book and some puzzle books for him too, he was happy with those, he doesn't mingle much with others because he doesn't like what they're doing, which is why others may avoid him in general but as we were leaving a friendly staff member coaxed him into playing Bingo, with chocolates.
Brother convinced me to order my groceries for every 4 or so days, instead of getting stuff for 2 weeks or more.
I will have to forego any treat purchases, and make do with my subscriptions, with 1 credit a month for audiobooks, i'm feeling the call for some Bret Easton Ellis on the Modern Vanguard line. But just one new audiobook a month. There's not gonna be any running out of stuff to listen to.
He brought some rice stir fry, and cookies, homemade cookies!! And they're gonna be going on a trip to Amsterdam, with some time in Cologne.
