LoL. I know people who went to natural gas so they never have that problem. Also know people who stick with propane in case they forget to turn it off

use either the electric smoker or charcoal, never liked propane

Yeah it has happened to me before. But it's not so bad if places that sell full tanks are open.

I usually have @ least 2 backups

That'd be my luck...

I only grill with charcoal. Never ran out of propane, lol.

Did that at a party I was hosting once on a long holiday weekend.
It was back before you could just go and trade out a tank at a gas station.

It took me over an hour but I found a place.

The horror of humiliation that could have been with over 70 guests....

Even worse if my soare tank is empty

Or when it runs out in the middle of cooking.

It's weird though, how it seems like it's almost empty but it just keeps going....maybe you'll get lucky - and also, like the others already said - spare tank is always good...

Propane is a dirty word.
