Do you enjoy cooking, or it it a hassle?

I used to enjoy it, but it's more and more of a hassle these days. Our son is back living with us, which is great for helping care for my wife, BUT he's picky as hell eating. And as my wife's dementia progresses she seems to decide she doesn't like things she used to love. Example: I never had sauerkraut until she introduced me to it with hot dogs. She used to love it, now she refuses to eat it. Used to love baked beans, now she won't eat them. Often I just can't work up any excitement about cooking these days.
