🤔 .. They sell prepared salads in bags .. literally ready to eat. Choose the variety/ what looks freshest and eat soon after.
Am I missing why this isn't an option short of a chef or "cheffy" partner? ;-)

@BrandNewMan nope. I rather date a person I can see often. I don't like this idea. 🥹

@FlowerPetal Not sure I follow how that relates to not wanting to make salads .. but you do you 😅

@BrandNewMan I wish that was a safe and easy solution but there were some tests that found cases of parasite eggs and some bacteria contamination. 🙈 This is a threat in any store bought lettuce and let's be real, how can you wash away everything off the leaves? But still, I feel a bit better when I rinse vegetables myself.
Not to mention the baguettes that are sold as ready to eat.. Or burgers when you eat out. It's always a lottery but why increase the chances if you don't have to?

@CrazyMusicLover I never buy anything prepared ahead like that w eggs unless fresh from the deli rather than produce aisles. Most of what I buy that way is washed at home, have a kitchen spinner gadget that spins like a washer tub to get the liquids out. More often its field greens and add my own other stuff, but a bag or two a month of prepared stuff over many years w no issues.
