Do you cook primarily with metal, wooden or plastic utensils ?

Or a combination ? I’ve been switching over to wood, since they don’t scratch my pots like metal, or eventually melt like plastic sometimes does.

Never plastic - silicone on the rare occasions I bake; always wood for stirring hot foods, metal for basting and for lifting.

@ArtieKat I have a blue transparent plastic teaspoon (... shudder...)

@helenS For measuring or actually stirring stuff?

@ArtieKat It's always been here. I never use it, but it looks used, with scratches and all. Why should I throw it away? Spoony is an illegal alien in my cutlery drawer, and it may stay there for good. 😌

@helenS I'm sure I have similar utensils! ❤
