How to get burnt stuff off bottom of pan?

Let it sit in sink but not removing anything.

I always use nonstick pans so I don't have to deal with that. Totally worth the investment, and nowadays some nonstick pans are even made of materials that doesn't get scratched by metals, which is amazing although usually too expensive
