@NativePortlander1970 aww. Good to know.
@Dacrowman You do need a bit of seasoning, salt and pepper at the least, that's what we used at the hotel restaurant for our prime rib during our friday and saturday night buffets, I staffed the carving station where we had prime rib, turkey breast, bone in ham, and leg of lamb.

@NativePortlander1970 sounds like you know what youre doing. I. Sure it will be delicious. 👌
@Umile Thank you :) My Dad started teaching me how to cook on my fifth birthday in 1975 with pancakes, I became a serious home gourmet like my Dad, and his Dad before him, I have also cooked in numerous restaurants over the years as well.

@NativePortlander1970 Dang. So, basically, you can make the perfect scrambled eggs, seared steak and creme brule ?
@Umile Never tried creme brule, but I once got promoted over a head shift cook because the hotel owner liked my breakfasts far better over his, he didn't even know how to make proper scrambled eggs, they looked more like mini folded omelettes and not the fluffy yellow clouds we all love.

@NativePortlander1970 Well that's a good sign. I don't think it's easy to do scrambled eggs. The proper way. My way is easy. Eggs + salt and pepper. Battabing. Battaboom.
@Umile It took me years to perfect scrambled eggs, the trick is low heat, knowing when to fold them over and over in the pan, and not over cooking, residual heat will finish them on the plate.

@NativePortlander1970 Good key tips. Gordon Ramsey would be proud. It's so funny. I suck at cooking. But, that man has taight me a lot about it.
@Umile Personally I don't like his scrambled eggs, they look undercooked, but he is a good Chef for everything else.

@NativePortlander1970 exactly what i thought. But, hey, he's the cook. Im just the eater.

@NativePortlander1970 no no. Let's not do that. Food and punches dont mix. ;)
@Umile They actually do, fist fights between cooks in commercial kitchens is actually quite common.

@NativePortlander1970 I thought it's only Islanders that get down like that. But, i guess punches are better than machetes in the mix. Though, if i was in the kitchen and in a fight, im reaching for anything. Smh.
@Umile Yeah, sometimes there were grabs for things that could be used as weapons, but rarely used.
