@hollygolightly Then you did a terrific job. Normally I find brisket to be chewy and fat. But I've never made it....BTW - great screen name....

@originnone you lose about half of it this is true. It shrinks and is very fatty. I cook it in red wine though and that breaks it down very well. There is a definite technique but Mom taught me and it’s just low and slow four hours and then you cut all the fat off and are left with delicious tender beef. ❤️

@hollygolightly I tend to cheat a little with things like corned beef by slow cooking them in a crock pot. If you get the right liquid like you did with the wine, it works pretty well....

@originnone I love corned beef. Irish learn to cook that fairly early though. Ha. I need to buy a crock pot. It would be much easier you’re right.
