I Like to Cook

I had some cabbage I needed to use so I decided to try something different with it last night. I fried it up with some Pumpkin Pie Spice and Salt and it came out really nice. It's the first time I've fried Cabbage and the first time I've used Pumpkin Pie Spice that way, successful experiment.

I never would have thought the pumpkin pie spice would have worked with cabbage. Sounds interesting

Not much Olive Oil and probably about 1 1/2 cups of Cabbage. Generous pinch of both Salt and PPS. I don't like using much oil ever so it was just covering the pan, not deep in the slightest.

Normally I would have cabbage in a casserole or dish like that. I have made Sauerkraut before and that was nice. That was a first for me having it as a side.

interesting, I think that's the only way i've ever had it. separately served over rice or something to that effect.
