i've heard about that. a Greek once told me of a recipe with plain yogurt with caramelized onions & garlic!!

Not a bad idea. I've used yogurt to bake chicken and it's good.

Try using greek yogurt, though it is dairy, maybe there is a nondairy version out there, but tastes like sour cream. We never use sour cream now.
