I Like to Cook From Scratch

I like making my own home chicken soup that i learned too make from scratch from my mother. I get a chicken thats 3 1/2 pounds and put in a big pot and fill it with water but not cover the chicken. bring it too a boil and skim the fat off and then add carrots,celery,onions usually two. add leak, add some parsley and add chicken broth cubes, about 8 and let it simmer over mid heat for about two hours or more. Then taste it and then you maybe need too add a few more chicken broth cubes. If you are satisfied then let it cool and put in the fridge. I usually keep in the fridge over night and serve it the next day because the fat with easy too skim off.

After that I would be tempted to add some home made noodles.
