I Like to Cook

But I'm ridiculously clumsy in the kitchen. I'm always dropping something or burning myself. Which is strange because I'm not like that while doing other tasks. Anyway!

I can't decide what sides to make with my thanksgiving dinner... So far I'm definitely making a Turkey, Ham and Stuffing. I'm torn between making either rice and gandules (I'm Puerto Rican, We make it for pretty much every holiday), Mac&Chz, Mashed Potatoes... A friend suggested making some sort of vegetable? I'm so indecisive. Help?

A sign of a messy kitchen while cooking is a sign of a good cook...what bout the traditional green bean casserole that's on the package of Durkee onions?..Those other 3 things all go good with dinner but I always do mashed potatoes and make the turkey gravy to go with. But it's up to your taste buds. I keep a bottle of chilled aloe vera in the fridge for them accidently burns...those things burn like crazy!

I love green beans, Will look into that! &aloe vera in the fridge, Don't know why I haven't thought of that. I constantly forget that the pans I take out of the oven are hot... I'm surprised I still have feeling in my fingertips.

Use the canned ones thou it taste better in the casserole than the frozen ones they call for. Aww you poor thing ..it happens in the kitchen..i am always getting the side of my arm..then I have a burn tattoo for awhile..:) I think we need to try not to rush things...one dish at a time..this year gonna do some stuff the day before~~hope your dinner turns out fabulous~~
