My mom felt it was important that all girls learn to cook and early. Some my first memories are helping her in the kitchen. By 10 I was making entire meals by myself

Your mother deserves many hugs for that. It seems made-from-scratch meals is becoming thing of the past these days. I was an only child raised in a single family home so my mother taught me to cook early as well. I actually love to cook and I'm very good at it. Everything from homemade biscuits two cakes.
