I don't actually love coffee--I needed that phrase to get to this window to type about coffee.

I was in pizza parlor a month ago and the owners will listening to coffee-shop radio--you know that music station where you hear acoustic versions of pop songs and everything is designed to mellow you out. The owners said they love coffee houses because it is relaxing to drink coffee in a coffee house---I said back--You drink coffee with the stimulant caffeine to relax? One of owners looked at me and laughed at that sentence question.

To be honest I am much more of a utilitarian about coffee--it is a tool to get me up and get me going in the morning --a wake process devoid of any social value.

However I guess that is the marketing of coffee---wake-me-up, social tool, book-buddy ect ect---I see utility in it and others see value in it independent of its stimulant core.

In that idea what is coffee to you? A wake-me-up utility? A social tool, a book buddy?

All of the above! It's also relaxing before going to sleep.
