Just had a date with a fool. Ever had one of those?

This guy thought that coffee and a chat would mean an all nighter. Never mind he had the social skills of a broom, his idea of conversation was all about fencing and archery, of which I know nothing, and he must have asked the prices of everything there. He suggested the place! I paid, which I don't mind, and didn't want to be embarrassed by him counting quarters or something.

He even told me his parents would love me, and that is the wrong thing to say when you've just met, and things are going awkwardly anyway.

Oh boy.

I just want a bath and a cup of good tea.

@coolboy86: that was rather harsh. That isn't who I am at all. You wouldn't know. You respond to one post that you don't like, and wish to define me based on your own spin on it.

Maybe it's because you relate to him. Or maybe you think posting about a date is wrong here. He isn't here, he doesn't come here, and I'm posting about something that happened to me.

I wish him the best, and I paid for his portion too. He isn't a bad person. It just was a bad date. Maybe, if he had been more relaxed or tried talking about something of interest, or even if he had made archery sound interesting I might have wanted to try it out with him.

Maybe I'll suggest it. He can have an apple on his head.
